Build Courses from YouTube

A YouTube playlist already groups videos together, but it doesn't enforce order, track who finished what, or check comprehension between videos — it's a queue, not a course. Anyone can skip to video 8 without watching 1 through 7, and there's no record of whether a student actually understood the material versus just clicked through it.

A course builder adds three things a playlist doesn't have: sequential structure (videos unlock or are presented in a required order rather than a free-for-all queue), assessment checkpoints (a short quiz between modules that reinforces what was just covered), and completion tracking (a record of who finished what, and how they scored). This is a meaningfully different tool than a full LMS or paid-course platform like Teachable or Thinkific, and it's worth being precise about the difference. Those platforms handle payments, certificates, and enrollment management as core features. A YouTube-based course builder like Arknox's doesn't have a billing system — it's the structuring and engagement layer, not the commerce layer. The realistic use case is free or lead-magnet course content (build an audience, demonstrate expertise, gate a resource behind sign-up) rather than a full paid-course business run entirely inside the tool.

Where this beats a raw playlist even for free content: no "up next" queue pulling students toward unrelated videos, a branded viewing experience instead of YouTube's default chrome, and actual data on where students drop off or which quiz questions they get wrong — information a plain playlist simply doesn't generate.
